Built ex-nihilo in 2007, the house, the winery and four holiday cottages provide 900 m² of total floor space. The buildings are in excellent condition and blend easily into the surrounding vineyards and moorland.
The four holiday cottages constitute a not insignificant supplement to the property’s finances, bringing a turnover of 50 K euros/per year. The four cottages have been finished to a high standard and enjoy the use of the luxurious swimming pool with pool house and vast stone terrace. In a peaceful setting, the cottages offer beautiful views over the holm oaks and vines of the surrounding countryside.
The winery is modern and highly functional. It has a total capacity of 900 hl in stainless steel and fibreglass tanks and wooden tuns. The winery is well insulated and extremely well equipped with crusher/de-stemmer, sorting table, pneumatic press, temperature control and around 30 French oak barrels for ageing.
The buildings also include a storage room for bottled wines, a tasting room/shop overlooking the barrel ageing cellar and a kitchen and office. The buildings are bright and modern, and provide top class working conditions.
With a total 11 ha, the property farms 10 ha of vines, 3 ha of which through a tenancy lease. Of the 10 ha of vines, 6 ha are classed AOP and 4 ha IGP. The vineyard is biodynamically farmed. It was certified Ecocertin 2010 and Demeter in 2015. The varietals planted are of high quality with over 80 percent being noble varieties.
Annual yields are around 30 hl/ha.
The domain currently sells approximately 40 000 bottles per year for a turnover of 200 K euros. The wines are essentially sold through the hotel restaurant industry and partly on the export market.
