Makrigialos village (it means long shore) is a charming fishing village, located on the South-East shore of the Lasithi prefecture.
Approx 30min drive from the town of Ierapetra and 1 hour from Agios Nikolaos.
The beautiful harbour has many fish tavernas and cafeterias. There is a wonderful sandy beach and several other coves in the surrounding area.
The village is well served with supermarkets, butcher, greengrocers, bakeries, chemists, bank, petrol station and more.
There is a regular bus service connecting Makrigialos to Ierapetra and Sitia.
