The house
The house was built in 1968 and has undergone some minor renovations. There is a front garden with mature palm trees and a raised, spacious and covered terrace to the front. Through this terrace you reach the front door. You enter into a small hallway that leads to the living room. The living room has large windows with a beautiful sea view and remarkably high ceilings. The other rooms of the house also have high ceilings, which makes it a cool house, even in the midst of summer.
From the living room you enter a corridor that divides the rest of the rooms. On the left you will find three bedrooms and on the right a bathroom and a kitchen. The kitchen leads to a partially covered patio. Behind this covered area is a spacious room that is used as a storage room and can easily be involved in the house. This makes an extra bathroom with a walk-in closet or a summer kitchen possible. You will also find the laundry room and a barbecue on the patio.

Exterior
This beach house has a covered terrace at the front of the house and a large patio on the other side. There is a front garden with mature palm trees and a fantastic sea view.
The covered terrace runs along the entire front facade and can be divided into a lounge area in front of the bedroom and, for example, a dining area in front of the living room.
The plot is completely fenced and has a neighbor on the right and a non-buildable area on the left with the protected remains of what was the loading dock for the mineral train from the surrounding mountains of Bedar at the end of the 19th century.
The garden behind the house has some mature trees and is not landscaped. At the rear of the plot is a detached building that also serves as a storage room.
Water and electricity
The house has mains water and electricity. The property’s electrical and plumbing installations are in an acceptable condition but ready for an update. The property has rights to well water from a nearby well. Those rights are currently not being used.
Condition and finish
The house is in an acceptable condition and habitable. Of course, a renovation is necessary to provide the house with all modern comforts.

The Location
Access to the property is from the public, coastal road. The beach house is in walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops.
The beautiful white village of Mojacar is 6 km from the property and at 800m is the Garrucha seafront promenade with an abundance of restaurants, bars, boutiques, beach bars and ice cream parlours. At 200m from the house is a gas station with a small shop. There is a Lidl 1500m from the house. The fishing port of Garrucha is less than 2 km away. Furthermore, in both Mojacar Playa and Garrucha you will find banks, private and public medical practices, dental practices, primary schools and a secondary school.
Mojacar has beautiful sandy beaches and two 18-hole golf courses. One of the golf courses, Marina Golf, is located 500m from the house. There are plans to build a luxury marina near this golf course.
Mojacar has over 310 days of sunshine a year and has over 20km of beaches consisting of both rocky coves and sandy beaches. Temperatures during the day in winter tend to be around 16-22 degrees and in summer 28-32 degrees.
The closest airport is Almeria about 45 minutes away, while the international airport of Murcia (140 km) is at one and a half hour . The Alicante airport (200 km) is a two hour drive away. The airport of Malaga is three hours away.
