Steps lead down to a little close entrance just to the right of the front door. Enter into living room, through the kitchen area, there is a good sized bathroom under the stairs, with shower, WC, bidet, bath and a large bedroom. In the kitchen area and in the bedroom are a beautiful ancient stone walls.

Open stairs lead to first floor, to the left is a light, double bedroom with double doors that lead into a private bathroom with shower, WC, bidet, bath. To the right is a door lead into a private terrace with amazing views across to the village of Gualdo Cattaneo.

The furniture is not included.

This fully restored apartment is on 2 floors. The stone building is more than 300 year old and has been tastefully restored, retaining many of the original characteristics. The kitchen and the two bedrooms have original characteristic stone and beams. Parquet cover the entire apartment.

There are two public parking area at 20 mt. from the house or 300 mt.

Gualdo Cattaneo is a little Medieval town, where one can find all the first services, you need (bar, post office, restaurants, chemist, etc).

Gualdo Cattaneo is located centrally within the Umbria Valley many of it’s most famous hill towns are nearby, including Bevagna & Montefalco (both 10 minutes drive), Trevi (15 minutes) and Spello, Todi and Spoleto (20 minutes). Many of these towns have cultural and summer festivals including the world renowned ‘Festival Dei Due Mondi’ in Spoleto in June and the ‘Fuga del Bove’ in Montefalco in August.

From Gualdo Catteneo, the international airport at Perugia is 45 minutes’ drive, the E45 route (at Ripabianca) is 25 minutes’ drive & the A1 (at Orte) is 40 minutes’ drive via Massa Martana.

Total driving time to Rome is 1 hour 40 minutes, making the house a suitable weekend home.
