Property Details

With its glorious natural scenery, excellent climate, welcoming culture and excellent standards of living, Spain is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the most desirable places across the world to live or visit. On offer here is a chance to make a smart financial investment in this magnificent part of the world.

This modern architect’s villa offers 415m2 of luxury combined with comfort and plenty of space for a family and several friends. A large and modern designer villa to live in, with pool, sunny south-facing terraces and a large and bright flat with its own entrance from the street and the adjacent glazed games room, in front of which the private ramp into the large underground car park.

Two bedrooms on the ground floor and one bedroom on the upper floor with private sun terrace, all with bathroom ensuite, store room, kitchen, pantry, pool bathroom and a large, representative living room plus another 8 sleeping options in the basement with their own living room offer a lot of space.
The architect’s villa has been thought through down to the last detail and is impossible to describe in full here.

One enters the property, which is completely walled and secluded from the street, through a massive door. A few wooden steps lead to the front door.

Once in the house you will find the stairs to the basement right in front, on the right are the two bedrooms of the ground floor, each with its own bathroom, floor-to-ceiling wardrobes and a large window front to the outside, as well as a balcony protected from view by wooden palisades. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished with great attention to detail. Every bathroom has its own colour nuances.

There is a small storage room to the left of the front door. The large elegant living room with dining area opens to the left hand side. The living room overlooks the beautiful and sunny South facing terrace and pool area. Large sash windows allow you to be inside yet out in the air by sliding a sash fully open. The dining area is separated from the kitchen through a decorative glass wall.

The kitchen was completely redone in 2015, including the floor tiles and is furnished to a high standard. You can also go outside via floor-to-ceiling sliding windows. To the left of the kitchen after the refrigerators is the pantry and in front of it a frosted glass door that gives access to a small courtyard where you can hang out the laundry or store rubbish bins if necessary.
Walking out onto the terrace from the kitchen there is a bathroom with shower on the left which serves as a ground floor guest bathroom.
There is plenty of seating on the spacious terrace, including two dining tables with chairs for 10 people. The pool level is covered with artificial grass, the pool itself can be protected from dust and evaporation with a roll cover.
If you walk around the outer bathroom to the east, you get back to the entrance area. On the pool side you go north to the garage entrance and the private entrance of the guest apartment.
The garage entrance and the guest entrance face west, the pedestrian entrance to the main house is on the south side of the property.

The upper floor can be reached via an airy staircase from the living room. Upstairs there is a sunny private terrace with divan and artificial grass. The bedroom is separated from the master bedroom by a door. On the right is the spacious walk-in closet, straight ahead is the luxurious and bright shower room, on the left is the south-facing bedroom. The original parquet floor was replaced in 2019 because of a woodworm and replaced with modern high-quality tiles.

The guest apartment was completely refurnished in 2018 by an interior designer and was completely renovated beforehand. It has its own full bath and a guest toilet as well as a small kitchen, an inner courtyard and 2 sleeping areas, one of which can be separated by a curtain. The apartment is kept open in the loft style and the living area can be closed off from the staircase and the kitchen as well as the toilet with a sliding door. In the corner of the sofa, a glazed light shaft lets in the sunlight from above. In the direction of the garage are the playroom, a children’s bedroom with 4 beds, then various storage rooms and the spacious double garage, which still leaves enough space for bicycles and surfboards even with 2 cars inside.

The villa was built with the highest quality materials with great attention to detail. No wonder, since the builder himself is a successful architect. All windows and outside doors are off anodized aluminium and lots of glass. Solid wood doors were installed inside. The floor in the living room is marble, in the kitchen modern porcelain tiles and the bedrooms on the ground floor have real wood parquet. Black and white are the dominant colours in the house, with specific colour accents being skilfully used.
The whole property is fenced with a concrete wall and all entrance doors as well as the remote controlled sliding gate are made of high quality aluminium.

This architect villa is located in the upscale residential area of Las Granada’s, above the large hospital of Fuerteventura, 2 minutes south of the capital Puerto del Rosario. For mostly doctors and entrepreneurs live in this area.
The villa faces south and borders the road on two sides,

ABOUT THE AREA

Puerto del Rosario is a busy port and the capital of Fuerteventura, one of Spain’s Canary Islands. It’s known for its whitewashed houses and open-air artworks, including giant snail sculptures along the harbor promenade. Close to the harbor, Playa Chica is a sheltered beach with clear waters. Playa Blanca, to the south, has strong surf. Shops line León y Castillo and the pedestrianized Primero de Mayo streets.

Puerto del Rosario is the capital of the Canary Island of Fuerteventura. It is a modern city with a population of around 39,000 people. The city was founded in 1793 and was originally called Puerto de Cabras, which means “Port of Goats.” The name was changed to Puerto del Rosario in 1860.

Puerto del Rosario is a popular tourist destination due to its beautiful beaches, mild climate, and abundance of sunshine. The city is also home to a number of historical and cultural attractions, including the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, the Museo Atlántico, and the Ecomuseo La Alcogida.

Some of the popular tourist attractions in Puerto del Rosario include:

Playa Chica: This is a sheltered beach with clear waters that is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports.
Playa Blanca: This beach has strong surf and is popular with surfers and bodyboarders.
Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario: This church was built in the 19th century and is the most important religious building in the city.
Museo Atlántico: This museum is located underwater and features sculptures by Jason deCaires Taylor.
Ecomuseo La Alcogida: This museum is dedicated to the history and culture of Fuerteventura.

Puerto del Rosario is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city with something to offer everyone. Whether you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation or an exciting cultural experience, you are sure to find it in Puerto del Rosario.

Lying just 100km from the African coast, Fuerteventura recalls its neighbour Lanzarote, only with more colour. Resembling shallow piles of saffron, chilli and coriander, there are none of the mist-wreathed pines or cooling, hilly microclimates of Gran Canaria. Blown by the wind and baked by the sun, the island is truly an arresting spectacle: for the full-on, wide-angle perspective of the Martian-like landscape, climb up to the Mirador Astronómico de Sicasumbre and take it all in.

Most visitors, however, are more interested in mastering the waves and the wind than contemplating the raw aesthetics of the scenery. The second-largest island in the archipelago (after Tenerife), Fuerteventura has year-round sunshine (a blistering 3000 hours a year), and the biggest and best beaches in the Canaries.
