Being an agricultural village, the town is surrounded by fresh local produce and is an area renowned for its olive trees, olive oil and wine. The house is located on the main street within the village, which leads to the town square (the platia).
it is surrounded by cafes, tavernas and speciality stores such a post office across the road, bakery, cake shop, local butcher, hairdressers, supermarket, fresh food market all within walking distance. There is a local primary and high school and a hospital within the town of Eginio.
Local attractions include the medieval port town of Methoni just 12 minutes’ drive (9 kilometres) where the famous Methoni castle is situated on the Aegean coastline, and it is only 28 minutes drive to the popular tourist destination of Katerini beach which is 35 kms away.
